First I'd like to welcome you to the Fire In Texas family.    What are the goals of Fire In Texas?  That's easy, it is to bring quality and accessible training to Volunteer Firefighters.  Volunteer Firefighters are important to our communities and quality training is important to everyone.

Second, I'd Like to tell you a little bit about myself.  My name is Ronnie Gothard, and I will be the primary Instructor as you proceed through our Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced SFFMA classes.  Firefighting has been part of my life for the better part of 40 years.  I've walked in the shoes of a firefighter,  made my way through the ranks of Training Officer, Fire Chief, and worked for the Texas Commission on Fire Protection as a Compliance Officer for the Fort Worth Region.  I am currently the Lead Instructor at Kilgore College Fire Academy for their online Basic Fire Academy and all online TCFP approved fire courses.   Fire in Texas handles all of their online students.

I've always enjoyed the training end of firefighting and have been approved as a Texas Commission on Fire Protection training facility since 2003.   Training is important and as an ex-Chief I know how difficult it is to find quality training at an affordable price.

Please contact us at any time for additional information on all of our exciting certification programs.
